X-Men: Apocalypse final trailer features Wolverine

Yesterday, 20th Century Fox announced
that the third, and possibly final trailer for X-
Men: Apocalypse will debut today, while
director Bryan Singer also revealed a photo
that gave us our first look at The Blob. True
to their word, the studio has debuted the
latest footage, which showcases all-new
footage from this superhero adventure, set to
arrive in theaters nationwide May 27. X-Men:
Apocalypse is set 10 years after the events of
X-Men: Days of Future Past and 20 years
after X-Men: First Class, taking place in the
year 1983. And this latest trailer teases the
arrival of the iconic Wolverine, played by
Hugh Jackman.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was
worshiped as a god. Apocalypse , the first and
most powerful mutant from X-Men universe ,
amassed the powers of many other mutants,
becoming immortal and invincible. Upon
awakening after thousands of years, he is
disillusioned with the world as he finds it
and recruits a team of powerful mutants
known as The Four Horsemen , including a
disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender),
to cleanse mankind and create a new world
order, over which he will reign.
As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance,
Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of
Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team
of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis
and save mankind from complete
destruction. Reprising their roles from X-
Men: First Class and X-Men: Days of Future
Past are Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Rose Byrne
(Moira McTaggert), Evan Peters (Quicksilver).
New cast members include Oscar Isaac as the
villainous Apocalypse, Olivia Munn as
Psylocke, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey,
Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Tye Sheridan as
Cyclops and Kodi Smit-McPhee as
Nightcrawler.
