Paramount Pictures has unveiled the second trailer for Star Trek Beyond, this summer’s third installment in the rebooted Star Trek film franchise.
The first teaser for the film was released back in December, and while most general viewers quite liked it, it drew largely negative criticism from die-hard Star Trek fans aka “Trekkies.” Fans felt that it had too much of a focus on action and that the song “Sabotage” by the Beastie Boys was an odd choice of music for the
footage to be set to. This new trailer is far different than the one that came before, not only because it’s a bit longer and focuses more on characters and the Enterprise crew’s adventure, but also because it has a very serious tone.
