Sony announced that sales of a much-awaited
final instalment to the hit video game series "Uncharted"
topped 2.7 million copies worldwide in its opening week.
"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" made by Naughty
Dog studio for PlayStation 4 consoles set a record
in North America, where it became the fastest
selling exclusive title for the latest-generation
Sony console, according to the Japan-based
entertainment titan.
"Uncharted 4," a third-person shooter game, was
released on May 10.
"Millions of fans have already joined Nathan
Drake on his final treasure hunt," Sony
Interactive Entertainment America first party
games senior director Asad Qizilbash said in a
blog post.
