‘DOOM’ Gets a Bloody Campaign Trailer and Announces Release Date

Looking back, it’s almost laughable to think that the DOOM of 1993 was considered too explicit, given how brutal Bethesda Softworks’ new campaign trailer for the reboot is. One of the most influential gaming titles of all time for its advancement of the first-person shooter genre, subsequent sequels have accrued a cult following due to their continuation of the graphic nature and innovative gameplay of the first. Naturally, the present-day DOOM elevates the series by employing new mechanics, a more in-depth storyline and breathtaking visuals, without deviating from what made the original so fun to play in the first place.

Look for DOOM to be released on Friday, May 13, 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
