Lionsgate has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel John Wick : Chapter 2 . The film finds Keanu Reeves reprising his titular role as legendary
hitman John Wick , who is forced once again out of retirement when a former associate plots to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild.
Chad Stahelski — one half of the directing team behind John Wick — takes the helm solo this time around as the franchise takes the action to Rome.
This is a terrific trailer that not only employs some classical music to great effect, but more importantly , it
provides the John Wick we want to see : a guy who guns down bad guys left and right. Stahelski looks like
he’s seriously upped his already impressive game for the sequel , and the new movie looks even sleeker and more stylish than the original . Expectations are
definitely high for Chapter 2 , but this trailer makes it look like Stahelski has risen to the challenge . Plus Keanu doesn ’ t look like he ’ s missed a step at all, and it's great to see him anchor yet another successful ful
franchise .
