Meet Boss Baby, the Armani suit-wearing, briefcase-toting brat voiced by Alec Baldwin in the upcoming DreamWorks Animation movie.

The trailer looks like a pretty typical comedy about a former only child annoyed by the appearance of a younger, cuter rival for their parents’ attention… and then takes a hard left turn into bizarre territory when the kid discovers his new baby brother is actually a boss straight out of a stereotypical 1980s comedy. He can even walk and talk like a tiny adult, although like a child he still has a tendency to fall asleep at random. It’s not a bad gag, but can it sustain an entire feature film? Guess we have to wait and see.
The Boss Baby opens in 3D on March 31, 2017 .
