Every Episode Of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season Six Cost A Ton Of Money

Game of Thrones is, by far, HBO’s most popular show, and with great popularity comes great responsibility . It also means the fantasy-epic has a much higher budget than anything else on television. We already know season six, which premieres April 24, will feature Thrones‘ “biggest [action sequence yet],” with “hundreds of human soldiers on one side of a field” and “another army on the other side, and then there is a clash that is highly tactical, yet character-driven.” Now comes word just how much every episode costs.

Those dragons aren’t going to pay for themselves.
In an exclusive Game of Thrones feature in the April print edition of Entertainment Weekly, reporter James Hibberd mentions the latest bank-breaking budget for season six of the series: “The show easily costs north of $10 million per episode at this point.
That means this 10-episode season set the Iron Bank back at least $100 million, and likely much more, considering the aforementioned (expensive) battle. It’s a far cry from season two, when the show’s budget was reportedly $60-$70 million a season and co-creators Dan Weiss and David Benioff had to beg HBO for an extra $2.5 million, and they “got $2 million-something.”

The lives of the Lyon family were flipped upside down in the fall finale of Fox's "Empire." When Season 2 of the hip hop drama returns with episode 11, Lucious (Terrence Howard), Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) and their three sons will all have their hands full and their lives may never be the same again in "Death Will Have His Day."

It looks like Cookie will come back into his life to keep him grounded and he'll have to go through her first before he goes forward with taking back Empire. ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 Promo Reveals New Footage of the Battle to Come

We showed you some new pictures from 6th season of game of thrones yesterday but today we've got you a new footage which teases a dark and violent season. We’re less than a month away from the big day and we just can't wait anymore (like we have a choice).
So, even though the latest short promotional trailer for the new season is largely steeped in imagery that we saw in the last trailer for Game of Thrones, which teased further fights and encounters with the Whitewalkers, any small amount of new scenes and images is enough to make it worth giving a look.

just so you know, there'll be more deaths because we've been told "one way or another a face will be added to the hole"...come onnn...it's Game of thrones of cause we expect to see new faces added to the "hall of faces" we just hope it's not faces of our favorite characters.

Microsoft introduces the world to 'holoportation' through HoloLens

Last June Microsoft showed off its HoloLens tech that created holograms from live video. Now it's putting that into practice and giving it an official name:Holoportation. It uses multiple 3D cameras to capture a subject from all angles, creating a "temporally consistent model" that can mimic the feeling of someone being in a room with you. During a TED Talk,Alex Kipman used it to virtually meet with a colleague in front of a Mars backdrop, but this lab demo from Microsoft Research shows something a bit more realistic. That is, so long as you're wearing one of the $3,000 augmented reality headsets.

The setup is in an incredibly controlled environment (the remote location and where the video hosted by Microsoft Research's Shahram Izadai are laid out pretty similarly), but it definitely shows the potential of using the device as a means of long-distance communication. You can even record a portion of a holoportation session and play it back, shrinking it down to size to fit on your coffee table. It's pretty neat! But it's still incredibly early. Artifacts resulting from compression or motion tracking are still present, a reminder that this is still a prototype, and break the illusion a bit.

Check out the picture-in-picture shots and you'll see the somewhat flickery and translucent images that go part and parcel with the headset at this point. Despite that, it's hard to not get at least a little excited for a future where real-time holographic meet-ups with a loved one exist.

Its Saturday Movie Madnez Once Again and "The 5th Wave" Is The Movie To Watch

The movie follows a high school student, Cassie (Chloe Grace
Moretz), after an alien invasion has killed most of humanity

any coastal cities (2nd wave); a fast-acting and highly
contagious disease has killed most of the rest (3rd wave).
Some people are resistant to the disease, and have gathered
together in survivor camps, as drones hunt down and kill
anyone they can find (4th wave), when the Army comes in to
bring them to military bases for safety, taking children first.
Cassie is separated from her very young brother, Sam, and
doesn’t make the bus. But the Army turns out not be the
rescuers everyone thought they were, and they kill all the
adults in the camp. Cassie is now on the run, trying to find her
brother.

Another batch of photos from the sixth season of Game of Thrones has been released, giving us a little more insight into what our favorite fantasy characters will be up to when the show premiers on April 24.

Disney's Jungle Book Is 100 Percent Green Screen, But It Looks Realer Than Real Life

Despite the lush environments and realistic looking animals, none of The Jungle Book was shot on location. Actually, all of it was shot in a big empty building in downtown Los Angeles. Meaning that everything you see on screen—with the exception of actor Neel Sethi, who plays Mowgli—is computer generated and animated. And yet, this isn’t Inside Out or Frozen. This is still considered a live action movie, and making the action believable was one of the biggest challenges facing Favreau as he tried to bring Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale to life one more time.

BATMAN v SUPERMAN: Dawn Of Justice Hits Cinemas Today

Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number of people consider him a
threat to humanity, seeking justice for the chaos he has brought to Earth. As far as Bruce Wayne is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world
with such a reckless power left ungoverned, and so he dons his mask and cape to right Superman's wrongs. The rivalry between them is furious, fueled by bitterness and vengeance, and nothing can dissuade them from waging this war. However,
a dark new threat arises in the form of a third man: one who has a power greater than either of them to endanger the world and cause total destruction!

DC Movie Update Arrives from ‘Batman v Superman’ Producer

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is shaping up to be one of the biggest movies this year. But, in reality, it's just the beginning for the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). Later in 2016, we'll be introduced to the Suicide Squad, with Wonder Woman (June 23, 2017), Justice League Part 1 (November 17, 2017), The Flash (March 23, 2018) and Aquaman (July 27, 2018) coming over the last half of this decade. While promoting Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, producer Deborah Snyder laid out the production schedule for the DCEU as it currently stands, in an interview with Collider. Here's what she had to say below, where she confirmed one interesting detail about Wonder Woman.

"So Suicide Squad is in post and that comes out later this summer, and Wonder Woman we just finished most of the bulk of principal photography in London. They're taking a two-week hiatus so Gal [Gadot] can come and do press, and then we go back and shoot the Themiscyra sections in Italy, and then come back for some pickups in London, just some green screen and some tank work, and things like that. We start Justice League April 11th and that is at Leavesden, mostly on stage and some locations around there as well as Iceland and I think a beat in Scotland at the end of the schedule. And we are working with James Wan on the development of the Aquaman script right now, and I'm hoping that sometime first quarter of next year we'll be in production on that movie as well as working on the script for The Flash. So it's a little busy. It's amazing to be able to get the opportunity to bring these great characters to life. It's like a dream come true. It's crazy. It's busy but we love doing what we do."
The producer's comments essentially confirm a rumor from several months ago, that part of Wonder Woman will be set on the title character's home island of Themyscira. There was a rumor that the movie would take place during World War I, which has been confirmed, along with present day, which will tie in to the upcoming Justice League Part 1. We reported in September that the movie would be partially shot in Basilicata, Italy, with many speculating that they would be scenes set in Themyscira. When asked about the diverse nature of the DCEU, Deborah Snyder spoke about how different these movies are from one another.

"They're so different from each other. (Suicide Squad director) David (Ayer) has created this really fun movie about bad guys trying to do good, and it's brazen, and it has just a really great tone to it, so it's really fun. And it's so different from BvS and it's completely different from what Patty Jenkins is doing with Wonder Woman. With Wonder Woman , it's an origin story, it takes place also in World War I, so as you can imagine you're kind of in a completely different world. And even just the color palette and everything of the films are so different from one another. And I think that's what's so great about having these directors come on board who have a very strong vision and point of view for these characters and these amazing stories and they can really make it their own, so that's pretty cool."
After The Flash and Aquaman debut in 2018, Shazam! will arrive on April 5, 2019, followed by Justice League Part 2 (June 14, 2019), Cyborg (April 3, 2020) and Green Lantern Corps. (June 19, 2020). We'll be sure to keep you posted as soon as more announcements are made.

Sony Announces PlayStation VR Launch Bundle

At this year’s Game Developer’s Conference, Sony finally put a release date and price on their PlayStation VR. It will arrive in October and will have a smaller price tag than its competitors, the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Sony has even promised that at least 50 VR specific titles will be available before the end of the year, all of which they require will run at 60 FPS.

The bundle will include: PS VR headset, PS VR cables, stereo headphones, PS VR Demo Disc, a PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move controllers, the PlayStation VR Demo Disc, and a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds. Interested PlayStation 4 owners will be able to pre-order the bundle starting at 7am PT on Tuesday, March 22. It will cost $499.99, so that’s $100 more than the recommended retail price of the PS VR headset alone, which Sony hopes shows significant value for money. There will be a limited amount available but a second wave will be put on pre-sale in the summer.

Star Wars Rebels Season 2 Finale Teaser: Ahsoka & Anakin

Audiences were quite familiar with Anakin Skywalker by the time Star Wars: The Clone Wars (the animated feature film, then the five season television series) premiered, having already watched his rise, fall, and redemption over the course of the first sixStar Wars films. But as The Clones Warsrevealed, there was still an important chapter of Anakin’s life left to be told – his time mentoring his Jedi padawan, Ahsoka Tano.

When The Clone Wars was canceled, fans were left guessing about what happened to Ahsoka after she left the order, as well as if and when she ever saw her old master again. Star Wars Rebels picks up the mantle of Clone Wars and, though not a direct continuation, the series includes many of the characters first introduced during Clone Wars – most notably Ahsoka, now no longer a Jedi but a leader within the growing rebellion.

Since then, Ahsoka has been on a collision course with the Sith lord, Darth Vader – her former friend and master, now twisted by hate and a villain more powerful than anyone she or her fellow Rebels have fought before. Star Wars Rebels’ one hour finale has these two coming face to face, and as the video above teases, their meeting will be all about the years of history between them.

The forthcoming meeting between Ahsoka and Darth Vader will no doubt be intense and emotional – for the characters and their fans. With so much of Ahsoka’s future unknown, and so much of Anakin’s already certain, it seems very possible Vader will cut down his former apprentice, just as he does his master only five years later.

Star Wars Rebels continues with ‘The Mystery of Chopper Base’ next Wednesday @9:30 on Disney XD. The two-part finale, ‘Twilight of the Apprentice’ airs March 30th.

Brother Faces Brother In The First ‘Ben-Hur’ Remake Trailer

This morning sees another big trailer debut,
this time for Paramount’s Ben-Hur remake.
Just so you know, The Charlton Heston version of Ben-Hur cost a
record-breaking $15 million to produce. It
won a remarkable eleven-out-of-twelve
Oscars, which still holds the record for the
most wins alongside Titanic and The Lord of
the Rings: The Return of the King . Oh, and it
also became (for a time) the second-biggest-
grossing movie ever behind Gone with the
Wind . But the question is whether or not what
was a one-of-a-kind spectacle back in 1959
will merely look like a god among gods in
today’s blockbuster environment and with that being said it's still a movie to look forward to.

The latest trailer for the film focuses on plot and
character specifics for the first time, where
the teaser and the previous full trailer were more

clearer who Kubo is, what kind of journey he's on,
and how the monkey (voiced by Charlize Theron)

The Future Of Virtual Reality Starts Next Week

Next week the annual Game Developers Conference kicks off in San Francisco. Game developers will meet to discuss their art and work to improve upon it, the show also typically does a good job of predicting what's to come in the game industry.

With at least four major virtual reality headsets exhibiting and at least 60 games spread out between the bunch, it's clear that the game industry is officially heading into the age of virtual reality.

On Monday, the Game Developers Conference is home to a two-day Virtual Reality Developers Conference with talks ranging from the highly technical ("A real-time rendered future") to the unsettling ("Harassment in social VR spaces") to the intriguing ("Virtual journalism: VR with a cause").

But talks surrounding the development of games and experiences for virtual reality aren't just during those first two days. The big backers in virtual playspaces are also each hosting events, panels and booths to discuss the near future, launch their headgear or just give people a chance to check out what all the buzz is about.

Oculus is hosting several days of events for the gathered press to show off its latest software in the lead up to the Rift headset's March 28 release date. They anticipate having more than 40 games at the event. At least one game, Minecraft for Gear VR, will be shown for the already-released, Samsung-phone-powered Gear VR headset as well.

For Oculus, the timing of GDC fits in perfectly with their hardware release plans.

SPIDER-MAN Joins The Fight In New CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Trailer

After a pair of teasers earlier this week showed the Avengers
picking sides, Marvel has released a new full-length trailer for
Captain America: Civil War .

The latest trailer, released Thursday, brings us back into the
world of The Avengers, who are still trying to keep the world
safe from destruction. After a major disaster occurs, humanity
begins to question whether or not superheroes should have full
autonomy and be the front-line responders in case of
emergency.

A massive rift forms between The Avengers when Tony Stark
(Robert Downey Jr.) agrees there should be some sort of
legislation policing our favourite superheroes. Of course,
Captain America (Chris Evans) doesn’t see it that way. Lines are
drawn and alliances are formed, and the gang is divided.
That’s when Spider-Man shows up and it looks like he's already chosen a side.

The Division has sold more copies in 24 hours than any other game in Ubisoft's history

Ubisoft trumpeted the news in a blog post last night, but did not claim The Division had won the most sales of any new game in a new franchise in a 24 hour period - that record still belongs to Destiny.

But Ubisoft has now laid claim to three of the top four most successful new game brand launches in the history of gaming - the other three behind Bungie's shooter.

Back in 2014, Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs had outsold any Ubisoft game ever in 24 hours - meaning that The Division has now beaten that total.

The other franchise Ubisoft is referring to is fairly easy to surmise: Assassin's Creed.

It means that out of the top four new brand launches in games, we're looking at Destiny in the top spot, followed by The Division, Watch Dogs and Assassin's Creed

This Dell Inspiron $800 laptop can play any PC game

Introducing dell budget gaming laptop (Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series) let this bulky $800 laptop fool you with its dull and ugly design, what matters is that it can play the most demanding games, including Fallout 4, Grand Theft Auto V and The Witcher 3, albeit with graphical detail settings at low. Slightly older games like Bioshock Infinite ran better.

The secret is Nvidia's GeForce 960M graphics chip, a prime piece of silicon that's only typically found in computers that cost hundreds of dollars more. While some of those computers have sleeker bodies, Dell chose to make an affordable gaming laptop instead. And though Dell may have cut a few corners to get to that magic $800 price, I couldn't find any major deal-breakers.

‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Full-Length Trailer Is FINALLY Here!

Game of Thrones fans finally have a full trailer to sink their teeth into, with plenty of hints at what’s to come in Season 6. An earlier teaser, released in February, took us into the Hall of Faces to listen to some haunting words from seasons past.

This new trailer promises more violence and political turmoil. Jon Snow is, at least the trailer would have us believe, “gone.” Cersei and Jaime are out for blood. Daenerys is on the road again. And, oh look—there’s Bran! The new season premieres April 24.

INTRODUCING Prima Cinema a $35,000 system that gives you access to first-run movies in your home.

They say that money doesn't buy happiness.

But it'll buy you a device that will let you watch movies at home while they're still in theaters.

Prima Cinema is a $35,000 system that gives you access to first-run movies in your home.

The system consists of a device — it's basically a computer with a 5-terabyte hard drive — that fits on the rack in a typical home theater. Movies are automatically downloaded to the system, and you can watch them anytime.

But that $35,000 is just for the device — each movis costs an additional $500.

Prima gets its movies directly from the studios before they're out in theaters. The company then encrypts them and sends them out to different Prima Cinema systems, typically at the exact time they come out in theaters.

Not every movie is available. Prima negotiates with studios for the rights to films, Haley Patterson, who oversees strategic partnerships for Prima, told Tech Insider. She added that Prima is in discussions with every studio, but about 60% of movies that are in theaters at any given time are on the system.

Studios get a portion of the $500 price of each film, just like they would from a regular movie theater.

Prima Cinema takes pirating seriously — the company has to make studios comfortable that their films won't leak online and somehow cannibalize ticket sales.

So before anyone can get a system installed at home, Prima Cinema makes you sign an agreement that says the movies are for personal use only. It also does a background check on you to make sure you don't have a history of pirating.

"We run a very non-intrusive background check that's only looking for piracy," Patterson said. "Obviously we can't have people with Prima systems who have a track record of ripping films."

The company encrypts each film, and also watermarks each frame with a unique code. So if the movie somehow gets out, or even a picture of gets posted online, Prima can tell who it came from.

You also have to use Prima Cinema's fingerprint sensor to "unlock" your film when you purchase it.

Prima Cinema's fingerprint sensor is usually installed in a wall or in a captains chair.

The company won't disclose how many units it's sold since it started selling them four years ago, though Patterson said Prima's goal is to have 500 installed by the end of this year.

But if you want that $35,000 system, you're going to have to act fast. Prima Cinema plans to replace it with a high-end system that places 4K high-definition video next year.

And that will set you back $50,000.

Quantico Returns ( Warning: This story contains spoilers from Quantico's midseason premiere)

Just when Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) thought her name had been cleared, it turned out that the first terrorist attack was only the beginning of her nightmare. ABC’s Quantico returned Sunday night fresh off the news it had been renewed for a second season with the action more or less picking up where it left off in the winter finale.

The hour opened several weeks into the future, with Alex taking the stand to testify that she believed there was more than one terrorist involved in the bomb at Grand Central Station, as well as the follow-up attack that killed 32 FBI agents, including Clayton Haas (Mark Pelligrino). Meanwhile, during the present-day scenes, the Quantico trainees merged with another class leading to high tension and several new frenemies.

By the end of the episode, it was clear there was indeed more than one terrorist involved in the attacks, as Alex walked right into another trap set by a mysterious person and Vazquez’s (Anabelle Acosta) life hung in the balance.

Choose Your Favourite Spartacus Characters And Tell Us Why You Chose them

We were going through our movie collections when we came across spartacus and we just couldn't stop arguing about who our best character was,Personally I like spartacus but my favorite character in the series was Ashur. He was the villain
I grew to adore. His manipulation and deception was epic plus the quotes from spartacus felt like music to the ears, remember this
"Once again the gods spread cheek to ram cock in fucking ass... you
would have me spread cheek for deeper ramming!"

"Words fall from mouth like shit from ass"

Yeah we know spartacus was indeed raw and we loved every bit of it.We do hope they create more TV shows like this in the nearest future so feel free to drop your comments below.
