Lucasfilm has unleashed the first exciting trailer and poster for the third season of Disney XD’s Star Wars Rebels during this weekend’s Star Wars Celebration Europe in London, revealing the main antagonist for Season 3.
Fan favorite Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) -- a Star Wars character who first appeared in the old Extended Universe in Timothy Zahn’s 1991 book, Heir to the Empire -- will make his debut when Star Wars Rebels returns in the fall.
Ezra, who was last seen struggling to resist the Dark Side of The Force in the season 2 finale, is seen fighting Imperial Stormtroopers like a pro-Jedi in the new video, thereby confirming that season 3 will premiere with a big time jump.
