The announcement comes just hours after images showed up on BlackBerry's official site for a short period of time, before being pulled.
As for specifications, the phone has a promising set of features for a device that'll cost well under £300.
Leading the line is a 5.2-inch full HD display with a scratch resistant surface. This screen is built in to a phone that measures 72.5mm wide, 147mm tall and just 7.4mm thin, which happens to weigh just 135g. For those curious, those are almost the exact same measurements as the Idol 4. Inside, there's a Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB storage which can be expanded up to 2TB.
Thanks to having Quick Charge 2.0 support, the 2610mAh battery can charge from 0-50 per cent in 51 minutes.
Moving on to cameras, there's a 6-element f/2.0 lens with a 13-megapixel sensor paired with a dual tone dual LED flash and 1080p full HD video recording . The front camera features an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture as well as an LED flash.
Like the BlackBerry PRIV, the DTEK50 (formerly referred to as Neon) comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and BlackBerry's own custom software pre-installed. This includes the BlackBerry Hub for managing notifications and the custom software keyboard as well as a number of other apps, including DTEK, the security management software.
While the specifications should make a great phone for the sub-£300 price point, it's the naming we find more interesting.
Up until now, the phone has been referred to as either the Hamburg or Neon. However, BlackBerry opted to call it "DTEK50 by BlackBerry", naming the latest phone to match its Android security software. They called it that as a reflection of its commitment to make Android more secure.

' Game of Thrones Season 7 Starts Production in First Teaser

Released at the conclusion of the show's San
Diego Comic-Con panel, its two minutes are mostly filled with behind-the-scenes footage of weapons, clothing, and scenery being put together. This is accompanied by dialogue from Season 6, but is capped off with a new line from Tyrion, who says, "Welcome home, my Queen," presumably signaling that Daenerys and company have made it to Westeros.

Telltale Games Has Released It's First Trailer For Batman

Telltale Games has released its first trailer for BATMAN , an adventure game series about the iconic superhero in Gotham. Unlike the well-received Arkham games by developer Rocksteady Studios, this episodic series will be focusing on the double life of Bruce Wayne and his vigilante alter ego.
The trailer starts with his reliable butler, Alfred, asking Bruce to "step out of the shadows" and ensure "there is room for Bruce and Batman" inside the suit. We then see Batman taking out some thugs and catch a glimpse of the Batmobile screeching through a dimly lit street.
Telltale is known for its tight writing and difficult decisions, and it seems the new BATMAN series will be no exception. Harvey Dent (aka Two Face is running for Mayor and some typically shady types claim their money can seal or destroy his campaign. How you interact with them and secondary characters, such as Gotham Gazette reporter Vicki Vale, seem to be at the heart of this five-part yarn. Plenty of fan favourites will be making an appearance too -- in the trailer we see Catwomwan, Falcone and Commissioner Gordon, to name a few. There are plenty of Bat-gadgets too, as well as iconic locations such as the Batcave and Wayne Manor.

The first episode in the series, Realm of Shadows, will be out on August 2nd on every platform imaginable, including PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS and Android. A disc-based version with a code for the season pass will arrive on September 13th in
North America and Europe on September 16th.

Game of Thrones : HBO announces summer return with 7 episodes

Game of Thrones season seven will air in the summer of 2017 and run for seven episodes, according to an HBO press release issued Monday — officially confirming what many have been saying for months: that at least one of the show's probable two final seasonally will be shortened as the series closes in on its endgame. All six previous seasons of Game of Thrones have run for 10 episodes each.
The show, which nabbed an impressive 23
Emmy nominations on July 14, will begin
production this summer and continue filming into the fall, a schedule that will push back Game of Thrones ’ season seven premiere date from spring (when it usually returns) until mid-summer.
According to Casey Bloys, president of HBO
programming, the reason for the scheduling
shift is primarily due to weather. "Now that
winter has arrived on Game of Thrones ,
executive producers David Benioff and D.B.
Weiss felt that the storylines of the next
season would be better served by starting
production a little later than usual, when the weather is changing," he said in a statement released by the network.
Plans are to film the season’s seven
episodes primarily in Northern Ireland, Spain, and Iceland.
Game of Thrones will debut in the summer of 2017 on HBO; an official date has not yet been announced.
