Sophie Turner says Game of Thrones season six is 'best season yet'

Sophie Turner has discussed the fate of her character, Sansa, in season six of fantasy drama series Game of Thrones.

In season 5, Sansa was forced to marry the villainous sociopath Ramsay Bolton, and was raped by him in a rape scene widely criticised since it aired.
The sixth series of the show will return on April 24 and is set to air at the same time in the UK and US.

Speaking about season six to Entertainment Weekly, Turner said, "This season is a really, really big one for Sansa. It’s probably her best season yet. It’s her really coming into her own. She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it’s really good."

She also adds that this season fans are "finally getting that storyline that you’ve been craving for the past five seasons," and also noted that Alfie Allen's character, Theon Greyjoy/Reek, will be one to look out for, saying, "I’m so excited to see Alfie’s one this season."

Saturday Movie Madnez is back and "Anomalisa" is the movie to watch

We're not fans of  stop-motion animation but this Tale of Love, anxiety and puppetry changed our minds and that's says alot. We remember watching the first five minutes and contemplating to watch something else but there's something about anomalisa that sinks its claws into you and before you know it you're hooked.

“Anomalisa” is the story of Michael Stone, a British-born
author living in the states. He isn’t a glamorous figure: He
writes about customer service, and his current book tour
includes a stop in Cincinnati, Ohio. Michael smokes and
drinks too much, but he has a bigger problem. In his mind,
everyone looks and sounds the same, from his cabbie at the
airport to his wife at home. At his hotel, however, Michael
discovers an anomaly — Lisa Hesselman, an eager-to-please
fan whose face and voice stand out from the crowd.

New Angry Birds Movie trailer reveals more backstory

The first trailer for The Angry Birds Movie featured a
lone angry bird, Red (Jason Sudeikis), who mostly
just came across as a rude jerk.
The latest trailer for the movie tries to
garner sympathy for the main character , who was
teased for his heavy eyebrows as a child and has
always felt like an outsider. In addition to Red’s
backstory, we learn that the green pigs pioneered
the slingshot technology that will one day be turned
against them.
The Angry Birds Movies hits theaters, possibly aided by
slingshot, on May 20.

HBO Shares ' Game of Thrones ' Season 6 Preview Clips with Fans on Twitter

HBO released three new season six "teasers" for
fans of Game of Thrones on Twitter yesterday , all
geared around the three strongest families in the
series: the Starks, Targaryens and Lannisters.
Fans had to tweet at the official Game of Thrones
account to view the teasers, and although
there's no new footage, there are some ominous
voiceovers that provide a little glimpse into the
new season.

It looks like the Lannisters may be running into
some financial problems, while Daenerys
Targaryen is menacingly told she's the "Queen
of Nothing" by an unidentifiable voice. As for
the Starks, it appears Ramsay Snow isn't going
to give up on taking all of Winterfell for himself
anytime soon.

Microsoft's HoloLens Looks Good But it appears to have a battery problem

Microsoft’s HoloLens headset, which enables wearers to
compute by seeing and interacting with holograms, may only
last for around five and a half hours on a single charge.
The device, which Microsoft unveiled last year and is still in
development, is completely wireless and depends on the battery
housed within it for power. Microsoft’s Brian Harris, who
revealed the battery details while on stage at an event in Tel
Aviv, added that when pushed to its limits, HoloLens will last
around 2.5 hours on a single charge.
However, he did point out that the device is still very much in
development, and that the performance and battery life of
HoloLens will continue to improve as updates are made.
But the initial news is disappointing given the increasing
prominence virtual reality is expected to take on in 2016 – short
battery life would no doubt discourage some potential users.
HoloLens is essentially a wearable PC – it contains all the
necessary processors to run independently, will run Windows
10, and has Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity to support the apps
that are housed within it. So far, early examples of the sort of
thing you’ll be able to do with it have been impressive, as
Microsoft epitomised with their demo at E3 in 2015HoloLens itself has not yet really made it out into the wild either
– development kits are only due to begin shipping to developers
in the next couple of months – costing $3,000 (£2,100) – while
official on-sale dates and pricing are yet to be confirmed.
Another issue raised has been the field of view a user has when
wearing the headset, which Harris also said Microsoft planned
to expand. Currently it has been compared to viewing a 15-inch
monitor from two-feet away. This is a very small space
compared to the 360-degree views currently offered by the
virtual reality headsets of the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Sony’s
PlayStation VR, all of whom are set to launch this year.

Fox announces 24 and Prison Break spinoff series

24 is returning to Fox, the network announced yesterday . According to Entertainment Weekly, producers for the series confirmed during Fox's press conference at the Television Critics Association festival today that it had ordered pilot for a spinoff series, 24: Legacy.

Although the series will continue its tradition of basing each episode in the one hour span of a day, it will star an entirely new cast of characters. Unlike the original24, which followed Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer — a member of the Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) in Los Angeles — the new series will focus on "a military hero's return to the U.S and the trouble that follows him back," according to a press release.

The network also used its time on stage to confirm that actors Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell would be reprising their roles as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows in a new Prison Breakevent series.

According to the network, the new show will be based on the original Prison Breakand will act as a continuation to the events that transpired at the end of the fourth season.

'Empire' Season 2 Spoilers: Lucious And Hakeem Threaten To Kill Each Other In Episode 11 Promo

When Fox's "Empire" Season 2 returns in March,
Lucious (Terrence Howard) will be out for revenge
against all of those who took his company away
from him, especially his son Hakeem (Bryshere Y.
Gray). The bad blood between the two is on full
display in the latest promo video for episode 11,
"Death Will Have His Day."
"The next time I see you, I will kill you," Lucious
says to Hakeem in the video. Hakeem responds by
a holding a gun up to his father's head, as they
are both near the water where Lucious killed
Bunkie (Antoine McKay) in Season 1.
In a shocking twist in the fall finale, Hakeem had
the deciding vote that removed Lucious as CEO of
Empire and handed the power over to Mimi
(Marissa Tomei). Mimi is currently with Hakeem's
old lover Camilla (Naomi Campbell), who could
turn the company over to Hakeem. Lucious will be
ruthless in his efforts to get the company back,
even if that means going through his youngest
son.

Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) is also not happy that
Hakeem turned his back on the family's company.
She tells Hakeem that they all "have it coming,"
but his time is right now. There is also a moment
at the end of the promo where Cookie and Lucious
are laying together and she appears to be
comforting her ex-husband.
The other Lyon sons will have their own share of
problems to deal with other than Hakeem. Rhonda
(Kaitlin Doubleday), who is pregnant with Andre's
(Trai Byers) baby, was shoved down a flight of
stairs at the end of episode 10. It's unclear if she
survived the fall or not, but Andre will have to
cope with whatever happened to his wife and
future child. Jamal (Jussie Smollett) will also have
to do with his actions of hooking up with Skye
Summers (Alicia Keys) and the potential damage it
could cause with his promoterJamieson (William
Fichtner).
There won't be any shortage of drama when the
Lyon family returns in March, which will feature
explosions, heartache, and potentially even more
betrayals. Watch the promo for episode 11 below:

TRIPLE 9 Gets An Action-Packed New Trailer

The upcoming action thriller Triple 9 is one of our most anticipated movies of 2016, and with a cast that includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Norman Reedus, Aaron Paul, Anthony Mackie, Casey Affleck, Woody Harrelson, Kate Winslet, Gal Gadot, and Clifton Collins Jr, you can probably see why. Open Road has released a brand new trailer for the movie.

When a crew of dirty cops is blackmailed by the Russian mob to execute a virtually impossible heist, they realize the only way to pull it off is to manufacture a 999, police code for “officer down”. The chaos that ensues when a police officer is shot in the line of duty is just the diversion they’ll need to do the job, but whether they have the will to kill one of their own is an entirely different matter. Their plan is turned upside down when the unsuspecting rookie they set up to die foils the attack, triggering a breakneck, action packed finale tangled with double-crosses, greed and revenge.

Triple 9 hits theaters on February 26th. Watch this new trailer at your own discretion.

New TV Shows Starting January 2016 ...INTRODUCING..."Shades Of Blue"

When we first saw the posters we felt well its probably just another cop series till we saw the trailer and that just changed our perspective plus Ray Liotta looks badass.

According to Screen Rant, NBC obviously hopes to start 2016 with a bang by putting Lopez in a new police drama that will explore the good and bad law enforcement. The trailer for the show immediately showcased what is to be expected of the series, as the first few seconds showed Lopez, who plays policewoman Harlee Santos, craftily staging a shoot-out after her partner had accidentally shot a drug dealer playing a shooting video game. It then jumps to short clips with a voice-over explaining Santos loyalty to a group of dirty cops. She later then lands in the custody of the FBI who forces her to become their informant. Her fight to stay alive while trying to lead a double life and keep her daughter safe starts then.
